I was motivated to write this song after reading Ephesians 5:14, "Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light."
This verse insinuates that some of God's people lay dormant in a spiritual slumber that God wants to wake us from. He promises that "Christ will give us light" if we awake."
If that is the case with any of us, let's hear the alarm from God's throne of grace, arise, and be the ambassadors of Christ, the light of the world He has called us to be.

Jesus’ call - does inspire.
Igniting hearts with - holy fire.
Heed His call - The Master’s plan.
Do His will - all we can.

Jesus calls and leads the way.
Trust the words - He did pray.
“Your kingdom come - your will be done -
on earth as it is in heaven.”

His Courage fills us to the brim.
Teaches us to trust in Him’
All things are possible to you my friend
God is with us to the very end.
